I wander around the wilderness behind the house every day, almost. I take a lot of photos of mushrooms, wildflowers, insects, leaves and anything else in nature, especially unusual or seldom noticed things. The wilderness is located in the northeast corner of Alabama. It's on the Cumberland Plateau, which is toward the southern end of the Appalachian Mountains.

New Face
Thanks to Suzan, my blog has a new face. I like it and hope you do. I've taken hundreds of photos in the past few days. A few of them are below.

Thanks I love how Suzan changed my blog. The wolf dog is still gone. We'll probably never know what happened to him. The other day two puppies walked up into the yard. They stayed the night and were gone early the next morning. I think we are magnets for stray dogs.
