I wander around the wilderness behind the house every day, almost. I take a lot of photos of mushrooms, wildflowers, insects, leaves and anything else in nature, especially unusual or seldom noticed things. The wilderness is located in the northeast corner of Alabama. It's on the Cumberland Plateau, which is toward the southern end of the Appalachian Mountains.

Two more art pieces
I completed these two today.
The cow is made from scrap pieces of old rusty tin and it's attached to recycled wood.
I've made a lot of these litttle people in the past year or so. No two are alike. This is the first time I've made one from old spools. It's name is 'Spoolly.'
