Nature Boy's Photo Journal

I wander around the wilderness behind the house every day, almost. I take a lot of photos of mushrooms, wildflowers, insects, leaves and anything else in nature, especially unusual or seldom noticed things. The wilderness is located in the northeast corner of Alabama. It's on the Cumberland Plateau, which is toward the southern end of the Appalachian Mountains.

About Chuck

Chuck Buckner
I am a writer,an artist and a graduate of Athens State University. I have a BA degree in English with a minor in Political Science. I served seven years in the the US Army. I worked for the same company for almost thirty years before they did me a favor and closed the place. I'm retired and spend my time writing, creating art pieces and wandering (wondering too) around aimlessly in the wilderness behind the house.
