This is a nest I found several days ago. It was empty when I took this photo.
A few days later I took this shot of four eggs in the nest.
Today I found this. Some creature raided the nest and had lunch. Tragic.
Yellow wildflower.
Dragonfly. The dragonfly didn't eat the eggs. It was likely a snake, some kind of rodent or another bird.
