I wander around the wilderness behind the house every day, almost. I take a lot of photos of mushrooms, wildflowers, insects, leaves and anything else in nature, especially unusual or seldom noticed things. The wilderness is located in the northeast corner of Alabama. It's on the Cumberland Plateau, which is toward the southern end of the Appalachian Mountains.

Rain Water
Last night it rained cats and dogs. Now there's cats and dogs running all over the wilderness behind the house. Not really, just a lot of water. It's all going downhill. Wonder where it will all end up.
We have had lots of rain here too. Our root cellar floods when it rains a lot and puts the pilot light out on our water heater!! Big pain in the cold butt!!!
