I wander around the wilderness behind the house every day, almost. I take a lot of photos of mushrooms, wildflowers, insects, leaves and anything else in nature, especially unusual or seldom noticed things. The wilderness is located in the northeast corner of Alabama. It's on the Cumberland Plateau, which is toward the southern end of the Appalachian Mountains.

Butterflies and Hornets.
These are a few photos I took today. It seems a little cooler here today and walking through the woods I noticed a few tell tell signs that Fall isn't too far away.
